This is a strong, lightweight, roomy case I bought for my middle school student. I got it half off before Christmas 2017 so I think it was a steal. The description says the frame is lightweight plywood - I believe that is incorrect. It appears to be made of rigid foam like a lot of other bags. The outside material is ballistic nylon or something similar - the description calls it canvas. One feature that's not evident from the description is that the "deluxe latch" locks with a three dial combination. The inside is well padded with room for two bows and a string holder, shoulder rest, rosin, etc. The outside pocket doesn't expand far enough for a binder, but it will fit a folder full of sheet music or other fairly flat items (e.g., iPad). It has a thick rubbery handle that makes it comfortable to carry compared to some other bags we've tried. Overall for the regular price it's a good bag; at half off, as I noted, I think it's a steal.
